This was my second exhibition featuring “The Dance of the Gorillas,” held in the Vagón Fotogalería (Photo-Gallery Railcar) at the former Hércules Station—a site managed by the Secretariat of Culture of the Municipality of Querétaro, Méx. I curated this exhibition by breaking away from the traditional “white cube” museum paradigm. It was a deeply moving experience to present my second collection inside a railway carriage, resting on the tracks of a former textile-freight station that once served the factory located next to the neighborhood. For this exhibition, the Secretariat of Culture of the Municipality of Querétaro awarded me a third certificate of recognition as an exhibiting artist.
